My dog, Kota,  actually ran this falls first.  He was standing above the lip drinking some water, when he just decided to commit to the falls.  He may have slipped but his line was great.  He doggy paddled right off the lip went deep, resurfaced and paddled to the shore.  I had never witnessed my 120 pound Rottweiler swim before this.  I fired it up shortly after and had another soft landing off this sweet waterfall.  Lane Jacobs took this shot of me stomping it with the rainbow.

Most office settings have their own little internal rivalries. The LVM office is no exception. Right now the drama is between Will Lyons and Daniel Stewart. Daniel came to us first as a Huge Experiences LVM scholarship student and now while attending UNC Asheville has taken on the role of Intern. He is super sharp and is rocking a 4.0 GPA and really starting to come out of his shell. Will Lyons started with us as an Intern while attending Brevard College he has since proven himself time and time again. He eventually worked his way into a full time position and is doing really well adapting to the LVM chaos. Believe it or not making all these DVD’s is a LOT of work.
I am super proud of both of their efforts and from my position it’s really cool to see each of them come into their own.

Getting back to the friendly rivalry a few weeks back Will who recently started kayaking from years in a decked canoe starting talking !@#$ about running Big Boy on The Raven’s Fork. A stout undertaking Big Boy is nothing to take lightly. Well it went on and on and on, all the while young Stewart, silent in the background, must of been plotting his next moves. Well he went out this past weekend and pulled off the Big Boy. Nice work Daniel, and Will we are all still proud of you. Hell none of us would sack up and take a Shredder down Tallulah’s Oceana.

Check out this edit we put together this morning… We have been hard at work here in Asheville, on our upcoming movie, to be released May 2nd. This will be updated daily with a small new edit to keep everyone excited, entertained, and ready to see our final result. The plan is to have the World Premier at Cheat Fest 2009, on the 2nd of May…. Thanks to the friendly folks at LVM (Will, Chelsea, and John) for lending their help and knowlage to us Demshitz.

Sorry about the lack of a podcast last week, it’s been a little hectic in the studio. We’ve had Demshitz Evan Garcia, the Brother’s Seiler (Jared and Graham), and friends in the studio for the last week or so working on their newest masterpiece, the Demshitz Movie. It’s looking good, featuring paddling from from the last two seasons from far off places such as Chile and Argentina, Colorado, California, and more. As most of ya’ll know, Tallulah season is upon us.  Its a beautifully deep gorge with some quality whitewater, plus on very sizable drop: Oceana.  Here is Will Lyons and Brian Burch attempting said drop in a shredder.
