In honor of The Ben Franklin, Michael Jackson, and finding our digital copy of LVM’s 5 and 6, we’ve decided to share this beautiful, exotic, well choreographed, quite rare tandem golden stroke from LVM 5. Here, Daniel DeLaVergne and Nathan Elliott, creative director here at Penstock Productions, align their chi’s and stroke it off Zwick’s Backender in unison. Want this gem for only $4.00? Check out The Ben Franklin. And don’t worry, if you already bought yours, we’ve got issues 5 and 6 headed your way! Happy Independence Day (D.R.C)!

What can I say. John Grace. This guy has been golden stroking it since most of us were in utero. This particular specimen is from the Rio Brazo’s in New Mexico. More on that in upcoming LVM 31. Come enjoy the 4th of July Green River Patriot Party and LVM #31 World Premiere at Green River Adventures. Party starts at 6 movie at 9.
The Pine Creek Race was this weekend out here in the beautiful Arkansas valley. It was a spectacular sight. There were some smooth lines and some smooth beatdowns. In the end Bryan Kirk took it all. He came from behind in the final heat and slicked his way past the Demshitz crew for the win. Here are some photos of the happenings.
The beatdowns were great. Props to the guys that hung in there. The great thing was that you could see it coming. You would know when someone wasn’t going to make the move around the hole. Only two swims occurred. Once again, props to the racers for stepping up to the plate and playing chicken with the biggest hole on the Arkansas.
On a side note, I ran into somebody that I met in New Mexico at the Upper Taos Box. I won’t mention any names, but this person made fun of us for wearing drytops and drysuits when we ran into him at the put in. He claimed that it was warm water and that we were pansies for suiting up so much. There were some other interactions that day that I won’t go into, but point being, he was a rather unpleasant person to be around at the time. Well, as I was hiking down to the Pine Creek hole, and I ran into him again, and he called me out as being one of those pansies in the drysuit on the Taos Box. And then, to top it off, he asked me to carry his boat to the put-in! What nerve. Well, all said, karma is a bitch. Here he is getting hammered on his qualifying run.
Well until next time something goes down here in the West…

brought to you by Diamond Brand Outdoors and LVM.
Come out Saturday July 4th and show your ‘Green River Patriotism’ by donating some time to help maintain The Green River. Recent storms have brought down some large trees in the river and only a group effort is going to move them. After the clean-up/excuse to paddle, Green River Adventures and Diamond Brand will host a party featuring the world premiere of LVM #31 on the infamous Jumbo-Tron. Food and Drink will be available at GRA for $5 with beverages from Asheville Brewing Company. Come one come all!
When/Where: Meet at Fishtop at 9AM if you would like to help with river maintenance. We will coordinate efforts there. If you want to help send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and bring webbing, pulleys, ropes, muscles.
Party starts at 6PM at GRA with premiere at 9PM. Fireworks will ensue from here (BYOF)
Looking forward to seeing everyone and stay tuned for a pile of teasers from Issue #31!
Here is a great video from this years Teva Extreme Outdoor Games! Enjoy.
