With more and more kids getting into paddling, the market for kids specific gear continues to grow. Both Werner and AT now make kids paddles. Kids must be cool because all these sticks are even less than the Ben Franklin! Find out why eddies will soon be filled with Groms…
Sweet Protection is better known for their helmet line but this new Gore-Tex drytop is pretty snazzy. Even though you could buy around 4.5 Ben Franklins for one of these puppies it looks like money well spent. Unless you’re hard on DVD’s. Brent Toepper explain the in’s and out’s of this Sweet Drytop…
This may seem an unusual booth at OR, but if you listen you’ll find they have one of the best deals going. American Whitewater has worked hard for decades securing access and water for the places we love to play. If you aren’t a member, listen up and see what you think…
Well, we didn’t get much out of this other than the news that Riot is Back for 2010. We’ll see if they come out with any smokin’ Ben Franklin type deals. Here’s a clip of John letting us know whats up:
Aside from that suave plaid drysuit, IR is still cranking out the Union Suit. SUP is a great way to get exercise and spice up your local mellow rivers, or go tackle Hawaii’s North Shore, as seen in LVM 31. We’ll let George from Surf Tech will explain more:
Ok, this thing has been described as a Ben Franklin and his twin brothers, but we had to cover it. I’ve seen footage from these and its better than any helmet camera out there. There’s tons of it in the Demshitz Movie, so check that out. We’ll let Go Pro tell us more:
Kokatat has some nice offerings here. First up is the Outer Core layer which we feel honors the Ben Franklin both in its sub $100 price and its use of recycled materials that don’t smell as bad. I’ll let Kokatat’s Matt Porter explain:
We like to save our best content for our subscriber DVDs, but wanted to share this piece with everyone. Right now in Canada there are literally hundreds of dams being built from the East to West Coast of the country. Other than to raise awareness we have no idea how to stop/slow it down. If you ever wanted to kayak in Canada best make your move.
