Green Race 2009

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Matt Porter sent us this. Nice work to you and your boys, hope to see you again in 2010! More awesome ‘09 Green Race footage in the upcoming LVM 33.

Hi LVM,

My name is Matt Porter and I was just wondering if you guys would just throw up this little short film I made about the 09 Green Race. I hear you guys are putting up some video soon and I’d feel real honored if you guys would enjoy my short enough to feature it. Interviewed my mate Kevin Koosk who raced for the first time this year and got some interesting shots of Tommy and also some carnage at Gorilla which I know wouldn’t be out of place on the daily LVM page. anyway, I’d really dig it if you would care to put it up on the page. At any rate I hope you enjoy it and I love what you guys do. Rock on. Thanks for your time!

Technical issues abound! Apologies for taking so long to publish some Green Race content but we have had a lot of technical problems. Here, in quicktime format until our vimeo account comes back online, we have a few minutes with Andrew “4:18″ Holcombe. We also had a glitch part way through so we will have more tomorrow. Great to see everyone this weekend! Also there are some missing bibs. We sent out an email and feel free to give us a call at (828)225-5895 if you still have your bib. Thanks.

We also have some Green Race T-Shirts left. Here are the office dogs showing them off.

Green Race is coming…

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

As most everybody knows the Green Race is upon us.  Its the time of year to bust out your long boat, dust off those smack talking skills, and get out there and post your time.  Here are some shots to inspire/ remind/ intimidate/ etc. ya’ll now that we have almost reached the one week countdown.  Look for me at the lip of Gorilla to capture you during the race.  See ya’ll out there!

Paying up on your green race bets.

The Green Race has came and went just as it does every year. We have started to edit the video from the event and are going to take a little different approach this year. Rather than just highlight the racers, river and of course carnage, we are going to take a look behind the scenes in this years segment. This is in our opinion one of the things that make the event so special.

Friendly wagers have become a tradition on the first Saturday of November. Enjoy this clip and stay tuned for Green Race Coverage in LVM #29.
