Spring is just around the corner and we are putting together our first issue of the year #33. I must say, Christian Magallanes is supposedly preparing for the MCAT, but sure seems he has a lot of time to dig up some beauties. This is Norwood Scott, legendary C1er extraordinaire and Mike Costas, ‘bama boy with a knife at a gunfight, trying not to hear “Hasta La Vista, Baby” in Terminator on the Futaleufu. Half the paddle, twice the golden stroke pictures…
Christian Magallanes is really stepping up the the plate recently. Not sure if this is gold, but it’s six people kayaking in the same photo. That’s got to be a record…
Doors @ 9PM, show starts @ 9:30. This issue includes: First Descent Reports on the Iskuit River in British Columbia as well as the Upper Thompson Rivers and Upper Creek in North Carolina. Southeast Racing Wrapup from the Green and Russell Fork Race's. Femme 45 Girls (Christie Glissmeier and Co.) check in from the Northwest and the Bottom's Up Kayakers from down under (Tyler Fox) give us a sweet as NZ update. AW Dillsboro Dam Update with Jeff Paine. If nothing else, a good excuse to eat some pizza and drink some good beers.
Matt Porter sent us this. Nice work to you and your boys, hope to see you again in 2010! More awesome ‘09 Green Race footage in the upcoming LVM 33.
Hi LVM,
My name is Matt Porter and I was just wondering if you guys would just throw up this little short film I made about the 09 Green Race. I hear you guys are putting up some video soon and I’d feel real honored if you guys would enjoy my short enough to feature it. Interviewed my mate Kevin Koosk who raced for the first time this year and got some interesting shots of Tommy and also some carnage at Gorilla which I know wouldn’t be out of place on the daily LVM page. anyway, I’d really dig it if you would care to put it up on the page. At any rate I hope you enjoy it and I love what you guys do. Rock on. Thanks for your time!
