A couple of days later, we headed up to the 2800cfs Russell Fork to meet up with Adam Herzog and Drew Austell to get some high water, low temperature action. Here are some highlights…

So the Monday Morning Madhouse is here to stay. This week we have Christian Magallanes in the studio talking about a harrowing rescue situation he was a part of on Big Creek in the Smokies. It involved a swimmer being submerged under a log for over 12 minutes and the rescue effort which took place to save his life. Fortunately he made it relatively unscathed, but there are some good lessons to be learned here so take a listen. Mr. Magallanes also gives a brief account of a recent expedition he completed on the Thule Bheri River located in one of the most remote regions of Nepal. Hope you like it, we'll be on time next monday with the next installment. Subscribe on iTunes for free!
We like to save our best content for our subscriber DVDs, but wanted to share this piece with everyone. Right now in Canada there are literally hundreds of dams being built from the East to West Coast of the country. Other than to raise awareness we have no idea how to stop/slow it down. If you ever wanted to kayak in Canada best make your move.
