This week, Teva’s Pat Keller gives us some thoughts on why he and so many other people love to go out and test their limits on wilderness kayaking adventures. Hike away from the roadside runs, get out into the cut, and find out why so many people love to experience the feeling of being in the wilderness. If nothing else, I hope this inspires everyone to get out and kick it in the mountains. So the Monday Morning Madhouse is here to stay. This week we have Christian Magallanes in the studio talking about a harrowing rescue situation he was a part of on Big Creek in the Smokies. It involved a swimmer being submerged under a log for over 12 minutes and the rescue effort which took place to save his life. Fortunately he made it relatively unscathed, but there are some good lessons to be learned here so take a listen. Mr. Magallanes also gives a brief account of a recent expedition he completed on the Thule Bheri River located in one of the most remote regions of Nepal.
