Toxaway Geological Update
Friday, September 25th, 2009The recent rains caused the Toxaway River near Cashiers, NC to rise well above flood stage. This created some significant morphological responses, most notably a few landslides on the gorge walls. The rapid affectionately known as “Punji Stick” was modified with a VW Bug sized boulder.
