The Himalayas play host to all types of ultra-classic rivers that are just there for the slaying. It’s a long journey to Kathmandu and quite a trip once you are there; so bring along a good book or two, a deck of cards, some spare undies, and an adventurous appetite.
Get yourself a copy of Peter Knowles’s book: Whitewater Nepal, a plane ticket (Virgin flies to Delhi and doesn’t charge for kayaks), a motivated homie or two, fly over there and be somebody.
